This beautiful late Georgian terrace is where it all started. Neglected and covered in ivy when I bought it, this house’s potential to become a gorgeous home was clear to me from day one, and I achieved it through a complete refurbishment.
Being in the Barnsbury Conservation area of Islington, the challenge was to strike the right balance between the building’s heritage and its need for modernisation. Working closely with the Conservation Department I reinstated many original features whilst adding a third
bedroom and en-suite wet room. Adding sky lights and a Juliet balcony to the 1960’s rear extension produced a really bright and airy modern kitchen.
